National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL)

The National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL) is accredited by the Department for Education (DfE). The qualification is delivered by the Outstanding Leaders Partnership (OLP), a collaborative partnership of schools, teaching school alliances and multi-academy trusts, managed and supported by Best Practice Network.

OLP is accredited by the DfE to provide the National Professional Qualifications (NPQs).

NPQEL prepares candidates new to executive leadership to take strategic responsibility for leading across several schools.

What is School Direct?

School Direct is a direct route into teaching, where successful applicants can follow a PGCE (with QTS) course. The main difference to the traditional PGCE course is that you will do a significant amount of your training within a school.
