Leadership-National Professional Qualifications

The WCTSA (West Cumbria Teaching School Alliance) is committed to offering high quality leadership development in this region of Cumbria.

The West Cumbria Teaching School Alliance worked in partnership with the Best Practice Network and was successful in setting up a Hub School at Keswick School for the delivery of the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and the National Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML). We joined the  Outstanding Leadership Partnership as a delivery partner and our first NPQML course began in February 2018 with a full uptake of places.

Shaun Monaghan, the Director of WCTSA represented our Teaching School Alliance on the Board

We began running our first NPQSL and NPQH courses in September 2018.

We are no longer recruiting colleagues for the NPQ programmes.

What is School Direct?
